Offploy Justice Personnel Celebrate First Client - MK College
As part of their recently launched outreach project, Offploy Justice Personnel has teamed up with Milton Keynes College as their first client. Milton Keynes College works with around 31,000 offender learners across twenty-eight prisons in the UK. As leaders in the Offender's Learning and Skills Service, they have placed 139 of their candidates into work. Offploy has pledged to support 250 ex-offenders into employment by 2019.
Outstanding Ofsted grade for Milton Keynes College establishment: HMP Whatton
HMP Whatton has now been confirmed as the first closed adult male prison to be judged by Ofsted as outstanding across all aspects. This includes the Offender Learning and Skills Service (OLASS) provision provided by Milton Keynes College which was also graded outstanding. Phil Harris, Deputy Director: East Midlands, stated: “we are delighted that Ofsted has recognised the excellent job our team does at HMP Whatton. This is a fantastic achievement and when you visit the prison you quickly understand why Ofsted came to their judgement.”
