Originally interviewed for the Greggs Employment Academy, Jodie secured a place with her impressive interview, drive and determination to succeed. Having completed the Academy, Jodie was transferred to the open unit at HMP Drake Hall where she continued to progress.

While at the open unit, Jodie decided she wanted to take a different path with her employment so it was suggested she apply for an opportunity working with Max Spielmann on release on temporary licence (ROTL).

Jodie began working in a branch of Max Spielmann in August 2017 and has fitted in well with the team, and her work ethic is second to none. Upon release from HMP Drake Hall, Jodie joined on a permanent basis in February 2018.

Kay Fellows, Area Manager for Max Spielmann, said: “Jodie fitted into our team from day one. She really understands our culture and the customers love her! She has now been offered permanent employment with us and we see a bright future for her here at Max!”
